 First release of year 2004!
Actually, this chapter has been ready in our hands for quite a while already (since last year :p), but as you all know (unless of course you're the type of leecher who never reads the news updates), my modem konked out on me and releases were halted temporarily. And Actually-no.2, I've gotten back my repaired modem around a week ago...but hey! School started already and I've been damn busy! Plus, I wanted to catch up on my mangas before delving into my workload...:3
Anyway, better late than never, right? no?
Ahhh, who cares what you think.
Here's today's release Chocolat Vol 01 Chap 09 ...which wraps up the first volume of Chocolat. Hrm...been more than one year since we started this project...took quite a while, huh?
By the way, something's wrong with the zu5.net redirect, so just use http://mangarealm.enacre.net . This makes the second useless redirect and I don't think I'll waste my strength to get a new one. So, we're gonna stick to http://mangarealm.enacre.net ...go update your bookmarks or whatever...

 Nope, not a release XD.
Just to inform you guys that getting our old releases would be a bit hard nowadays. Why? Well, for one, I lost my modem (How'd I get online to write this then? Here's how; I kidnapped my dad's office computer for a few hours. brrr...his office is cold....should I turn off the a/c?).
The reason why I'm spouting all this crap is because I just popped into the chan and found no ops at all and definitely no fserves serving MR releases >.< . That tends to happen now and then, that's why I've always tried to leave NekoNip (my bot) running as long as possible. But as I've informed you before (you don't remember? scroll up, you forgetful bugger), I'm modemless (stupid thing burnt out on me...and after all the love I showered it with...), so no more NekoNip.
This is not to say that it would be completely hopeless to get old releases. The other fserves would from time to time, pop into the chan. But that totally depends on their moods (really scary, I tell ya..).
Just be patient, and check the chan every once in a while if you want the oldies XD (and if you see Zygote, go and bug her for the files **runs and hides from ChillGrl
One last note before I freeze to death from this damn a/c;
Let us all wish Neko to get her modem back fast(this will benefit you...my lack of modem has significantly slowed down releases XD). If you see a shooting star, don't be selfish and use the wish for yourself...USE IT FOR ME!!!!!

 On the last update we brought you guys the 6th chapter of Chocolat. However, we later found out(after juuuust releasing) that there were some...umm..mistakes made in that chap. The mistakes have now been fixed..and just in time to be released(if you're distributing the releases, please re-download this chapter...we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause) with our brand new chapter for today's update.
I'm lazy to write a long update, so this will be short and sweet(I know most of you just skip my thoughtfully written updates anyway).
Today's release: Chocolat Vol 01 Chap 06v2 and Chocolat Vol 01 Chap 07
Till the next update, here's a lil bit of news to keep you happy; you guys can expect(hopefully) to have more of Chocolat in this pace at least until the year finishes ^_~.

 Hello again! Yes, now I'm the news-updater neko apparently. Unfortunately though, we're not that hardworking enough to prepare you guys another release(bah, we need rest too). Instead, we have another different type of 'release' to help you get through your day.
We just thought that since we have so much free time, we'd help to bring our friend Melissa(yes, our generous host) more love from you guys(how do we do that? Read on leechers).
We've put up a certain something in a certain section of this site. And that certain something is hosted by our dear dear friend Melissa. Again, don't abuse her kindness. Download only ONE file at a time, don't use download accelerators.
If you're still clueless, here's a hint, they are old releases....oh what the heck, go and get some of our old releases that we've put up on the site for you guys!
...some of you are just so slow.....XD

 Hey, help us out okay? The more help we get, the faster we release! And it's all for you guys too XD.
We're certainly picking up pace now. Uh huh, you got it right...it's another update. Blah blah blah.
Let's talk a bit shall we? About what you ask? Just about the fact that WE NEED YOUR HELP. Of course, we'd need you to be able to actually do the work decently(hehe, now, I'm sure a lot of people have started running away). Head to the Staff section for more information(gah, I sound like a cheesy advertisement)
Another thing(person, actually XD) on my 'talk' list is introducing our new editor!!!!(she didn't run away?!?...yeah, that was basically my reaction too :3)
Kaoru_chan was the editor for the release we have today which is none other than Chocolat Vol 01 Chap 06.
Now go and get it in the Manga section.Yah, yah, I know you love us.

 Yes, yes, it's an update. Are you happy now?? XD
Hrm, the updates are spaced further and further apart...what to do? We ARE busy people! Sleep just takes up a looooooot of time, y'know? Ebil, ebil sleep!
Bah, been quite a while since I've done any updating...I'm getting rusty.
Anyway, how'd you like our new layout? Hehe, it's been ready since the last update, just waiting for the next one to put it into use :p. And as you can see, that took a whole lot of months XD. Like it? Hate it? Head over to the chan and tell us! If you like it, go flatter the hell out of me (Who's 'me'? Here's a hint, I purr.). If you don't, just go to the chan and don't say anything (silence is golden). If you have no comments, just go to the chan anyway. Chat, idle or stare at the chan and watch other people chat(creepy, but we all do it sometimes :3). The chan is dead you say? Well, duh. There's only so many times you can talk to yourself in a chan. So, do YOUR part and strike up a conversation (I believe it is something that goes two ways...though I must say it's been going one way for me all this time; me talk, everyone else listens. XDDD).
Here's a piece of news for those people who regard the irc as monsters just waiting to nab you and gnaw on your bones(don't worry, everyone was once like that too...I think...). Our friend Melissa has generously agreed to spare us some space to host our new releases. Now, be her friend and don't abuse her generosity. Download one at a time and don't use download accelerators!
To those who do know how to go on irc, go and get the chapters from there, please. We'll try our best to serve the releases. Help us to put them on your fserves too. We'd appreciate it very much.

 To help you start off the week after the end of Fourth of July weekend, we have a double release of Star Ocean: The Second Story - Volume 2 Navigations 7 and 8 (to make up for the lack of releases in this past month)! yay!
We still don't have any hosts for the past releases, so you'll have to get them in the chan because the links are dead (angelfire is so strict XP) and will probably stay dead. you can try to download them if you want to though...
But we do have Navigations 7 and 8 on the site, so go get them! (yay!) i would direct link them here but i'm too lazy (in fact, i was so lazy that i copy and pasted the "Star Ocean: The Second Story - Volume 2" part from a previous update.). To the people who have access to irc, please try to get them on irc (you lazy bastards!).

You: argg, why does MangaRealm only update about once every month? I'm too impatient. argg. (yes, you are a pirate)

Me(bob-a-sai): well, we would update faster if we had more staff members. so instead of moanin' and groanin', go the staff section and read the qualifications of becoming a staff member. Then email us, applying for the staff job you want. har har.

Me: well, mostly because right now i'm taking summer school (of hell) and have a teacher (of hell) who gives us a test (of hell) everyday. (har har)

wow! i think i was sleep deprived when i wrote this! (yay!) now, that.. dialog was to tell you that we're still looking for translators, scanners, editors, and hosts, so APPLY NOW by emailing us and spare our fellow staff members from getting carpal tunnel syndrome from editing/typing (translating) too much.

 Ugyaaaaaaaaaa!!! The world's coming to an end!!!! I(SilverNeko) actually did some work!!!!
Been a looooooong time since I've done any scanlating...
hehe...actually most of the editing was done by bobasai ;p Really, I looooooove that girl!!!
Why? Cos I've been pushing all the workload to her ^^; and she didn't even once complain! Amazing, huh?
Oh yeah...all you editing freaks!!!! COME AND BE MY COMRADES IN TACKLING SCANS!!!! ugh....maybe that'll scare you guys away...

 Okay, listen up. I (ChillGrl) and SilverNeko are very busy this whole year, because we have this major exam (-_-") at the end of the year. So there will be few releases this year. We'll try our best to bring you what manga we can, but we are, after all, a team of four people :D.

Another thing: As you all know, the links to our earlier chapters are quite dead, so you'll have to get them from the IRC channel. If you don't know what IRC is, google it. For now, only the latest releases will be on http, unless we somehow manage to revive the links.

Anyhoo, go and download Star Ocean: The Second Story - Volume 2 Navigation 6, and remember our blood, sweat and tears that go with it.

Oh yeah, and from now on Tine will be updating the site! (Yay Tine!)

UPDATE (few hours later): Chocolat - Volume 1 Chapter 4 released.

 Work has been going really slow lately. =_="" What with all the usual stuff like school and exams and being sadly understaffed... Plus we weren't able to update for the past few days since our host was down. Anyway, our address is now http://mangarealm.idz.net.

Now the manga! Today we have for you (at last) Star Ocean: The Second Story - Navigation 5--the last chapter of Volume 1, and Chocolat - Chapter 3!

However.. there is some bad news. Our scanner doesn't have the second volume of Star Ocean as yet, and we're not sure when it's arriving. So there will some delay before the next SO release. If there is anyone willing to help scan in either Japanese or Chinese, please let us know.

Also, all information about staff openings are on the (where else) Staff page. ^_^

 Thanks to the very kind Jedon_Gor for donating extra bandwidth and space to us! So all the old Star Ocean chapters are back up. Also, we realize that Navigations 1 to 3 were done in rather low quality, but we promise that Navigation 4 onwards will be much better. ^^

 Chocolat Volume 01 Chapter 02 is up! Navigation 02 of Star Ocean has been taken down. Also, thanks to Manga Jouhou for adding us to the link trade :D If you didn't know, they keep track of manga scanslation releases and also review some manga.
